Small changes in lifestyle can make your skin healthy and radiant.
Many people know the problem of uneven skin tone and dull skin. Or even worse – nasty acne, popping up at the most inopportune moment (before the interview, a date or a photo session). It’s easier with a photo session: you can fix everything later in a photo editor. But a date can be spoiled.
The worst thing is that when you are 13 years old, then you firmly believe that everything will pass with age. But most people pursue this problem until old age.
Another nuisance is a dull complexion. It is easier for women here because there is an opportunity to gloss over everything with tonal creams. But what to do when there is no such possibility? For example, on the beach (although some ladies go there only after a session of makeup).
But you want to just enjoy life, and not worrying about bad skin.
There are simple ways to become the owner of a fresh blush, smooth and radiant skin.
1. Give up sugar
Or reduce its use to a minimum. When we eat something sweet, a lot of glucose gets into the blood. Our body responds by releasing the hormone insulin to deliver glucose to the blood. The sweeter the food, the more insulin.
An increased insulin level leads to an increase in testosterone levels, which, in turn, promotes the production of substances that span pores and attract bacteria. All this leads to acne.
Attention: sweeteners like aspartame also belong to sweets, because although they do not contain sugar and calories, the body reacts to their sweet taste as well as to regular sugar, producing insulin.
2. Drink more pure water
Yes Yes. Everything is so simple. Drink as much as you can. Better at least 2 liters per day. If you can not drink so much – 1 liter is already good. Gradually you will train yourself to drink water.
Why should you drink water? First, if the body lacks moisture, it will not send it to the needs of dry skin, but will first provide more important functions (for example, removing waste from the body, metabolic processes, cooling the body, etc.). You can use super expensive cream to moisturize the skin, but it will not help you if you do not drink plain water.
Most creams are designed to retain moisture in the skin cells. And if there is nothing to hold … Well, you have already understood.
Secondly, all metabolic processes occur in the aquatic environment. Favorite vitamin C, necessary for the beauty of the skin, uses water to dissolve. And besides, water removes waste from the body and improves digestion.
If you have a pimple on your face, then this is a signal that your excretory system such as kidneys, liver, and skin cannot cope with the amount of the trash.
3. Eliminate Convenience food from the diet
As well as other products with preservatives, dyes, sugar substitutes and other achievements of chemical production.
Fans of all of the above can be identified by dull skin with numerous rashes. This is a reaction to the pollution of the body. Yes, you can blame hormones. But hormones have such a strong effect on the skin only in adolescence. And after 20–25 years, excuse me, these are no longer hormones (unless you have a serious skin disease such as rosacea or hormonal disturbances that are really disturbed).
By the way, violations of the hormonal background can also be successfully cured by an ordinary change in diet and vitamin-mineral complexes.
4. Take Vitamin C Daily
Vitamin C is a very effective thing. It is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells. In addition, it is involved in the synthesis of collagen and elastin, which directly affect the beauty of the skin, and also prevent the formation of wrinkles.
The recommended daily intake for an adult (18 years old) is 1-2 grams. The dosage is best divided into 2-3 parts and taken after meals, so it will not irritate the stomach.
5. Stop smoking
This is one of the most faithful means to ensure a healthy, not sallow complexion. When a person smokes, his cells starve; they simply lack oxygen. And this not only spoils the complexion but also leads to many health problems, including cardiovascular diseases.
6. Eat more good quality fats
Fats – the necessary building material for our cells, as well as an indispensable source of omega-3. Especially lean on cold-pressed vegetable oils, nuts, and seeds.
If your body does not have enough fat, then you will have very dry skin. Fats protect the cell wall. They are part of it. If there is not enough fat, the cell will not be able to update as expected. This, in turn, will lead to a dull complexion, as well as to long healing of wounds and scars on the skin.
If you have been afraid of fats for a long time and lived on the principle “the less, the better”, then begin to correct the situation right now.
Add vegetable oils to salads. And not a teaspoon for a solid portion of vegetables, but two tablespoons each. And do not forget about nuts and seeds.
You can also buy Omega-3 pills and take it.
7. Eat more bright berries, vegetables, and fruits
Bright berries, fruits, and vegetables contain many antioxidants.
In this case, the more diverse the palette on your table, the better. Each color is a different type of antioxidants and a different substance. Antioxidants protect the skin from damage by free radicals, which lead to early wrinkles (and late ones too).
In the cold season, you can successfully use frozen berries and fruits. A great way to use them is to make them smoothies of all colors.
8. Add cardio in your schedule
Nothing improves the complexion more than regular cardio training. First, we sweat, which helps our body remove toxins from the body. And secondly, cardio exercises train the heart, which not only helps to live a long time but also improves blood flow. And without good blood flow, it is difficult for a blush to appear.
Yes Yes. I know you have no time. But, setting a goal, you will be surprised how easy it is to find 20–30 minutes a day for training. The main thing is to see the first results.
